d affecting ion-channel proteins.

e all of the above.

I'm kind of sure its A, since B is wrong since neurotransmitter only alters the permeability of presynaptic cells, C is also wrong, D is wrong since the ion-channel is not made of protein, but of ligand.

  3. I really don't remember any of this from my one psych class, but if you're sure it's not B,C,D, and therefore can't be E, then its definitely A... right?  =)

  4. The correct answer is E.  All of these events happen, even if they are on different time scales.
