I really do not have much acne, but lately I have noticed redness and small pimples on my chin and cheeks. Is it okay to use this gel, and how well does it work?

  1. Hey Pencils! I love all Neutrogena Products! I use the face wash (gel), the foundation(makeup etc.) All their products work really well, and I have never had an adverse reaction to any of them. I don't have a lot of acne either but it does run in my family. My mother took me to a dermatologist 8 years ago, because she was so afraid of kids making fun of me in school if i ever had any bad breakouts. The doctor told me if I want to pay for expensive creams and face washes I can, but since I didn't have an extreme form of acne he advised me to stick to Neautrogena Products ( which I would save money), and my acne would be fine. I have been using all Neutrogena products for 7 going on 8 yrs now. I am 22 and I love all of them. My skin is so sensitive and oily. Neutrogena products help reduce and prevent the cause of acne. Alright, enough about me going on and on about Neutrogena. Lets just say I love all there products and I hope you do too! Does that help answer your question?

  2. Look at the active ingredient it contains. If it says salicylic acid, it probably won't. Find a product with "benzoyl peroxide" as the active ingredient.

I recommend Clean & Clear Continuous Control cleanser. It cleared my face up completely in 10 days.

  3. no dont use this! this sucks! use stridex with the spot treatment its the best,
