Question:

Never Try to sue insurance companies?

Unless you have a very strong case. I recently heard on the news someone trying to sue the insurance companies, but the trial and hearings went on for two years until the plantiff went broke from all the court fees and lawyer fees. Insurance companies are smart!

  1. The answers vary by person. It would be a good idea to hear several of them and see the differences. Here is a good one.http://insurance.free-onlinetip.info/ins...

  2. That's a pretty dumb summerization. Any big name company not just insurance will do the same thing. They have plenty of money legal teams and just don't really care about you or your frivolous lawsuit to get rich. So it is not just the "insurance companies" that are smart, it is all companies.

  3. It's usually cheaper and keeps records from being public if they just settle out of court.  That said, most large companies will not allow something to go to litigation without planning on either:

    1. winning

    2. stonewalling

That's just common sense.  Someone who forces litigation against a large business without planning on monstrous legal fees (or having their tail handed to them) is a fool.

  4. Actually not suing anyone unless you have a very strong case is a good idea.

Our court system is bogged down with frivolous law suits.  And the only ones who win those -- is the lawyers.

Sometimes cr@p happens and you don't get paid for it.

  5. Picking out only an insurance company is a pretty misleading point.  Should be never try to sue a huge company.  Any time a regular Joe tries to take on a huge corporation the same thing happens...who ever runs out of money first loses...survival of the fittest...

Chances are if the company had a serious chance of losing the case to begin with they would have just given the plaintiff some 'go away money' (out of court settlement..."take a few grand and shut up").
