Never been snow skating ,any tips I should know?

I heard its easier than sking and I have a snowboard and I found that was really hard.

snowskatings really fun. it takes a while to get used to.  its a lot like skateboarding-trick wise.  it also depends on what board you have- a burton approach board is very good but a lot like snowboarding.  it cant really compare to skiing that well, because u dont really use a snowskate down large hill/slope.  its like skateboarding, u just use it in ur backyard or a park w/ home-made rails.

Um i don't think that snow skating is easier than skiing, its quite difficult to keep your feet on at first, though after a while you'll get the hang of it...Try to keep your knee's bent and learn to turn and carve as soon as possible...good luck
