  1. I had this problem. My doctor gave me birth control to regulate my periods. Mine were extremely heavy and lasting up to a month. I thought something was really wrong with me. The BC took a couple of months to work but it really did make it normal. I now take them so I don't have to have a period at all.

  2. if you are really concerned you need to go and see your GP.

    good luck =)

  3. you probably need to go to your doctor. this happened to one of my good friends and her doctor put her on birth control so she could regulate her period

  4. A period lasting that long should be checked out by an MD.

Eventually you could have complications such as anemia, if this is a chronic problem.

Worst case scenario, although you didn't mention your reproductive status, but if you are pregnant,  or would like to be able to have children at some point in your future the safe thing to do is get it checked out.

Most likely it is just a heavy period. But better safe than sorry.

    Good Luck.

  5. you should see your doctor. you'll probably get birth control which should help your period to be lighter and more regular. this happens to alot of people so no need to be worried

  6. I run XC and have never heard of something like this that was caused by running. I have missed periods due to running though. the only time I've heard of anything similar to this was one of my friends that's on birth control. Either way, you should probably get it checked out by a doctor. If it's not normally like this then you might want to be concerned.

  7. you should really see a gynecologue as soon as possible. it could be nothing but better safe than sorry.

    Good luck
