Never had a bf?

Question

I'm 13 and never had a boyfriend is this normal? The only reason I ask is because I have friends that are a year younger than me ((12/ 13)) that have had like 5 or more and seem to think that I should be more experienced than they are

It's ok. Be with someone because you're in love, not to add another notch to your belt. Please be responsible in your actions and don't move too fast. You are not your friends and dating & love IS NOT  trend. It's a natural thing that happens and shouldn't be toyed with.

Oh wow.  If you stay on this track of thinking you're headed for some serious problems in your future.

I didn't have my first boyfriend until I was 16.  And until then I had 0 experience.  By that time, my cousin at 13 had so many boyfriends I don't think she even knew how many, and probably the same amount of experience that a 23 year old has.  Yeah, she's deemed a s!ut at her school.  All the guys stay away from her, cause they think she's disgusting.  Oh, and she's allergic to shellfish, which just so happens to be her favorite food, which just so happens to make her break out into cold sores around her mouth.  Being a family member, and knowing her my whole life, I know that.  However, the kids at school don't know that, so they tease her and started rumors that she has herpes.  Yeah, I don't think she's feeling as hot now at 16, because of the reputation she built for herself.

Anyway, the point is, it doesn't matter who's the first to have get a boyfriend or have s*x or to have the most of either of the two.  It all boils down to how happy and secure you are with yourself.  If you are happy and secure with yourself, then you don't need a guy to enhance that.  It will all happen on its own.  Just go with the flow.  And guys love confidence in a girl.  And by the looks of this question, you might be lacking that a little.  You don't need a guy to be happy or fit in.  You need confidence.  As cheesy as it sounds, and it is probably the most commonly used self esteem booster among the youth, it is true.  Don't be in a rush to grow up.  Be 13 for now.  That year only comes once in a lifetime, so make the best of it and each year you are given the chance to live.

im 13 and i have had some. but not like those S****y hoes who have like 24.

so, you will, but right now, girls are going through puberty and no t so much the guys, so once again we have to wait, DARN. ahahaha. once they hit puberty they will get teh balls to ask girl out.

I was about your age when I got my first but he ended up being the biggest a*****e. you have many more teenage years ahead of you. don't rush into boys just because your friends do. the right one will come a long and when he does he will totally sweep you right off your feet, and let me tell ya.. its the most amazing feeling being in love. I'll be eighteen in less than a year and its taken me this long to find a guy who really loves and cares about me. that's whats most important.

im going to be a sophmore next year and ive been dating my first real boyfriend for about a month. alot of my friends had boyfriends wayyy before i did.

i hadnt found the right guy  and i had to become a hundred percent comfortable with myself before i expected someone else to be.

just give it some time. it will happen soon enough.

its not a matter of being normal or not, the questions for you is... is it what YOU want.  if you dont want a bf then it explains why you've hadnt had one yet, if you do want one and havent had one then it may be a matter of being smart and not wasting your time on those who arent right for you! hun your 13 no need to worry!

It is so normal, you would be so surprised to know how many people that don't, have said they do but were lying, or have had one but it wasn't serious. Don't worry. You aren't even in high school yet and you have plenty of time to find a boyfriend.

No 13 year old should have a bf or gf. You don't know enough about relationships at that age. You are perfectly normal. I for one am 18 and have never had a bf (I am waiting until college).  Boys my age are very immature and I don't care to waste my time.  Look at it this way; your friends can get all stressed about about the boy they are "dating" this week, while you are calm and collect.
