Never paid final pay check ?

Question

I quit my job at a preschool a little over a moth ago. I never called about my last pay check assuming that they would mail it to me but they never did. Is it too late to call now?

You need to call.  Maybe they are hoping you won't show up and they can keep the money...  You worked for it, you earned it, and you deserve it.  So give them a call, tell them that you hadn't received it and that you wanted to make sure that they had the correct address or something, then request that they resend it :)  then you won't sound like you've just ignored the issue for a month :)

Nope, you are still entitled to pursue that last paycheck until the SOL runs out. Keep calling, send a letter via certified mail, and your persistance should get you your money. Otherwise, you may want to consider taking your last employer to civil court.

they still need to give u your last check they cant take your money and not give it to u i would drive there if its close and pick it up or call them and tell them to mail it 2 u

unless you broke your contract by not giving notice or something similar then there is no reason why you shouldn't get your last pay check.just give them a ring and find out what's happened to it,it could just be that they forgot about it and it's still sitting there waiting for you.
