  1. THIS IS A repeated question ON THIS SITE NOT FOLLOWING THE OPTIC ION IN STRUCTIONS--OK--pleaseREF;--WWW.all boutvisio.comcontact lens/f*g/htm-cached----allaboutvision.co... tips.htm/cached

  2. depends on what kind of contacts are you having... dailys, monthlys or sleep-ins... dailys and monthlys should be removed after 8 hours in order to prevent infection and dry eyes... but sleep ins lasts longer... check with your optometrist

  3. I asked this question to my eye doctor - I wear night & day monthlies but take them out every night. I asked if I could wear them 7 days a week as they are designed to be worn for a whole month without removing them. He said that with those monthlies your eye doesn't get enough oxygen and that if there are problems with contacts its usually the monthlys wearers it happens to. Why don't you just take them out at night. You don't need to see when you're asleep ;)

  4. If your doctor told you to take them out every week and you leave them in longer, of course that is bad.  If you overwear contacts, you are putting your eyes at risk for serious damage and infections.  Follow your doctor's instructions.  If you would like to wear contacts for longer, talk to him or her about it and see if there is another option for you.
