The former Manchester United man claims that he is not interested in taking up a manager’s role yet and is instead focusing on his coaching career for the time being.
As one of the most famed graduate of the Red Devils academy, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gary-Neville-c14447 enjoyed a hugely successful career at Old Trafford.
His performances and ability to defend and attack at the same time, also earned him an England call-up, where he demonstrated his skills on the International front. However when he realized that his limbs could not keep up with Premier League football, he
chose to retire immediately.
An offer of punditry with Sky Sports proved to be too tempting for him and he immediately took his place in match of the day, where he gained praise for his no-nonsense analysis and his ability to work out the technical aspects of the game.
However his time on the television was short-lived, as Roy Hodgson gave him the chance to work with the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 National Team as an assistant coach.
The ex-full back took up the opportunity almost immediately but wasn’t able to make much of an impact as the Three Lions were knocked out in the quarter-finals by a resilient http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926.
Reports have now emerged linking Neville with a manager’s post, but the defender claims that they are false and he is least bit interested in doing that.
"I really enjoyed it. Who would not enjoy being part of a tournament? It was an incredible experience for me. But I am acutely aware it is only the very beginning. I am ambitious and young and I want to learn more. I have no aspiration to be a football manager."
The 37-year-old is also working on project to protect the environment and reiterated his cause by saying that sports must do their part in changing the global green crisis.
"Sport is an important part of our everyday lives and we believe, sport as an industry must grasp the green agenda. The environmental impact of sport is massive but often overlooked - with the Olympics putting sport at the forefront of people's minds, we
believe the time is right to launch a green revolution in sport,” he said.
While his playing days maybe over, Neville still has plenty to offer on the pitch and hopefully England will benefit from that in the coming years.
