New 16-piece kitchen kit smelling like plastic???

Hi everyone...I bought these new 16-piece kitchen kit like few months ago...as usual I cleaned them before using...But I am unable to get that plastic smell out of them...When I used the basting spoon to serve, even the food smelled like plastic...

Any suggestions how to get that stink out of thosse 16-piece kitchen kit??? Thanks in advance...

Try putting them outside to air out.

If it is in the plastic then it isin it for life.  That is the price you pay for buying from someone you do not know.  If you knew the seller you could return it if you were not satisfied.

Buying online and at flea markets and big tent sales has its price.

what the heck are they made of?

can try burying them in the garden for like 36 hours
