Question:

New Adams Clubs?

I'm going to buy some new Adams clubs here in a few days. I currently have a hand me down set of mix matched clubs. Now the Adams irons are supposed to be easier to hit. That being said, will it shave strokes off my game? I currently can break 100 on a par 72-74 course.

  1. Hard to say, but here's my take: (By the way, Adams make very good golf clubs, you're sure to like them!)

You didn't give an indication of the model of clubs you plan to purchase, but if you get Adams "game improving" clubs (like the Idea a30S), you should see an improvement in your game, especially if you are having problems hitting the ball consistently with your mis-matched irons.

That being said, new clubs (of any brand) will not correct serious swing flaws, but can help to diminish the effects of such a swing.

Also, a set of new, matched clubs will go a long way in improving your confidence (a big part of the mental game) because you know that you are playing good equipment.

I think you'll do fine with your new clubs! Have fun!

  2. Not sure what is your $$ range but I have these clubs and they are pretty awesome. They are not the latest in the golf club fad but I have no complaints at all
