Question:

New Aparment Acoustic Problems!

I'm a college student who just recently moved into a newly built apartment complex. It's a nice apartment with a good location but the floor is concrete and the acoustics in the place are terrible. I have three other roommates and when I am in my bedroom I can hear everything in the living room. Is there anyway to muffle the sound?? Will buying rugs or carpet help??

  1. Yes, rugs or carpet will help, as will curtains on the windows.
