New Audi A4 estate - any good?

Question

My wife needs a new car capable of transporting the 2 kids and a labrador (and no doubt copious amounts of shopping). I was thinking this was a good buy - she'll want a safe, relaxing car. In addition, our local council don't grit the rural roads around our village - so quattro is useful. Up to about £30,000, other suggestions appreciated.
