  1. take some advil,it helped me

  2. I remember first getting braces on. I still have them on.

Well, to answer your question, I'd have to say take Orajel and Phos-phlur. You can find both at CVS or Shop Rite.

If those don't work, ask your orthodontist.

  3. Hi. I just asked the same question, like 5 minutes ago, because I got braces today too! :D

Well, anyway, try sucking on an ice cube. The cold helps numb the pain.

  4. Take a good solid dose of Acetamenophin (spelling could be off).  That always helped me when I had braces.  The pain WILL go away eventually.  =)

  5. sorry but advil never helped me.  I just dealt with it.  Pretty terrible answer sorry :-)

  6. i had braces for 7 years and the best way is just to wait it out for 1-2 days...ive tried all the medicine befroe but it just best to wait

  7. they will hurt now, but will hurt less over the week. take motrin i did and it helps at least a little! don't worry, the pain will go away in AT LEAST a week if not, less.
