New Bridle, how can I make it soft?

Just got a new bridle what would be the best thing to soften it up, does anyone have some home made products that they use (that work)

So shop bought ones.

hmmm maybe olive oil? I know for sadals and stuff my old friend back in grade school had to buy leather oil
