New Build House: How Long To Build?

Question

We have just exchanged contracts on a new build 2 bed house.

We are only getting an estimated date from the builders which is understandable, but because we have a deadline with our mortgage company, we think they maybe fobbing us off.

Anyone got any idea how long it will take to build:

*2 bedroom semi-detached house, with d/stair WC and drive.

The land is just rubble and no work has started.

It depends on the build schedule ie. are they building houses before yours? they usually build in a certain order, once they get to yours, 12 weeks (at least)

2 weeks if it's brick and pored foundation

Couple of weeks.

Three to six month depending on who your builders are.
