Question:

New Car Suggestions (sports coupe/2-door)?

I'm looking for a new car. It needs to be luxurious and sporty. I prefer 2-door hatch backs, but I realise there are not many now adays. It has to have front wheel drive for winter. I will not buy an American car. I have 35k saved and hope to buy outright (I don't have or want to have debt).

My vehicle ownership history to give you an idea of my style:

1984 Saab 900 turbo

1990 Saab 900 turbo

1991 Saab 9000 turbo

2006 Acura RSX type S (currently driving)

I want something quality and luxurious with all the options. It doesn't have to be brand new, I'd rather drive a car that is a few years old and nicer than a new car. It has to be very fast and it has to be standard (preferably 6 speed). I am a young professional in sales, and need it to be nice enough to take clients out in without getting embarassed, however it cannot be too flashy or presumptuous (no Benz's).

Thanks in advance.

  1. Camaro, G6 convertible or coupe, G8, Sky, Solstice

  2. Try www.autotrader.com and enter in the specifics of what you're looking for and the miles of radius you want to search.

You'll be surprised at the great prices on great cars you can find.  Me? I'm in the market for a Mercedes CLK 350 or 320  convertible as soon as I have most of it saved up.

  3. Here are some options in order on what I think will be the best with pictures:

    1) 2008 BMW 128i

    2) 2006 Infiniti G35

    3) 2006 BMW 330ci

There are not many options out there unless you are willing to maybe finance $4000-$10000. If you do, here are your options:

    1)2009 Audi A5

    2) 2008 BMW 328i

    3) 2008 Infiniti G37

I have a 2009 Audi A5 on order and cannot wait. If you are very interested in the car, you will have to order because they are very rare at the time. They start at around $39,000 with standard leather, sunroof, 6 Speed Manual. But, they can highly reach over $50,000 with common options such as Genuine Milano Leather, Navigation System, Bang & Olufson Sound System, Sport Package, and Premium Package. They also come in amazing colors such as Deep Sea Blue with Cinnamon Leather. This car is a stunner inside and out. One day, the dealer let me take the demo out for a run. In less than 1000 Ft from where I left the dealer, I managed to get 2 Compliments on how good it looked.

Other than the Audi, BMW makes wonderful products. Currently, I have a 2003 BMW 325xi which I shall be trading in for the A5. I love it, the resale value stays high and it is fun to drive everyday, but lacks a navigation system which I am in desperate needs of.

    Best of Luck
