New Car below Sticker price?

Question

Negotiating to get a 08 Chevy Aveo5 LS. The price the dealer's website has is 14,680 (the dealers website doesnt have any info on the car other than the color--and my mother called to see if it's a automatic--it is) How far from the price should I go?? I've decide to go the last week of the month and I figure they would want the 08's off the lots to make room for the 09's this summer..should this go in my favor?

I would suggest going to www.cars.com or www.edmunds.com. You can get the invoice pricing on the car along with the invoice pricing on all of the options. Auto sales are poor right now and you should not pay more than invoice. I used those resources in March and got a Lexus IS250 at invoice price. Good luck.

Yes it will... Also try and deal with the sales manager.. not a salesman.  it sux buying cars and it's a game you play.  Offer them 12,500 or you walk...

Then walk if they say no.   Go to other dealerships... someone will need your money...
