I have two choice between used cars and here they are:

2000 Mazda 626 4DR AUTO 4CYL

69,000 Miles

$4800

OR

2005 Cheverlot Cavilier 4DR AUTO 4CYL

73,000 miles

$6300

Both are clean title - etc.

For this question, I would like to know which of the above two vehicles would be best for RELIABILITY. As I already know I drive my vehicles hard.

  1. Please go green, our planet needs it.

  2. It depends where you live?...But Mazda is the best of the ones YOU listed...Chevrolet in UK is a well known name designed to fool you into buying a Rover $h1t heap from the third world... from a company that should have given up after the Maxi/alleggro they made...yep go with Mazda its reliable and japanese...

  3. Find one that has good gas mileage.

Me, I chose a car that I could have fun driving: The Tiburon. But the gas mileage is killer.

    Its gotta be ur choice.

  4. I'd go with the Cavalier.  The high miles for a 2005 suggest that they're probably mostly highway miles.  Even though they have low resale value, the later model Cavaliers have been fairly reliable and the new Ecotec engine (came out in 2002) is much more fuel efficient than previous models and will in all likelihood do better than a 626.

  5. Mazda is much more reliable than a cavalier.

    for $4,000

    look for

98 Acura CL, 98 Ford Mustang V6, 98 Honda Accord or Civic, 98 Nissan Frontier or Pathfinder, 98 Subaru Impreza or Legacy, 98 -00 Toyota Corolla or Echo 00

these are all reliable and will last longer than other cars in this price range.

  6. Actually, both those cars are not the best deal. (Eathier). In my poinion I would get a Smart car. Now think about this for a second. Gas prices are roketing up, and those arent even Best quality of cars. A smart car is a new developed car that has high ratings in crash testing. And verry affortable. Google smart car and take a look at the site. Very Very helpful.
