New Car question.?

I just went and bought a used car. It is a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix. I have had it for almost a month and was wondering what I can do because it sounds like my driver side power window motors are going out. I don't know if this is usually covered since it is a used car or if they still have to cover it. I have called the service department and I am waiting for them to call me back now to get the info from me but was wondering whether I have a chance at this or if I have to fight it or just deal with it. I just hate to have to keep it this way since I just financed it less then a month ago.

  1. you would have to look at your warranty. It will usually tell you what is covered, and what isn't. Something like this, probably wouldn't be covered. You can probably find a cheap place in town to fix it though!

  2. Did you buy a warranty?  If you did not then it is on you if it is over a month since you purchased the car.  If you do have a warranty then just keep using the window until it is so bad they have to replace it.

  3. Typical build quality of American cars!

  4. if the car has less than 36,000 miles, it is still under warranty and the dealer will fix it
