New Cheerleader.. Cheer Clinic? help please?

hey i just started cheer leading and i only did it one other time during the summer at a cheer camp & i made JV today! i was so surprised

since i am new i was just wondering what exactly is a cheer clinic cause its on my calendar for friday this week

  1. Whoo-hoo yoooo! Good job! A cheer clinic is basically like a camp or class, that will teach you all of the things that you need to know to be a cheerleader. This includes kicks, jumps (probably hudlers {side and front}, toe touches, and pike), motions, some cheers and sidelines, basic stunting and techniques. This way, when you start practicing, you'll already know what to do, and that makes it easier for the coach(es). Bring lots of water, because camps/clinics can become very tiring!   2. Hey, congratulations! And I'm a cheerleader too! (: Well, a cheer clinic is basically a practice except you learn a lot more. Like cheers, chants, dances, motions, stunts, and others. Of course, lots of cheer clinics are different, but for the most part they cover the same general things. I hope this helps! And goodluck!
