New Delhi Hotels?

Question

I am looking for a hotel to stay in after arriving to New Delhi at 2:30am, it would need to include airport transfer as I am female travelling by myself. I am due to start an intrepid tour the next day. I would like the hotel to be central, so I can sightsee once I have had a sleep!

U can stay at The Grand, it is in Vasant Kunj and abt 30 mins from the airport. Or try Radisson. It is very close to the airport.

If u r staying in central delhi, stay at The Park in Cannaught Place. Very modern and bright. u'll love it!! It's a 5 star.

But u should keep in mind that central dehi is around 50-60 mins from the aiprot. but it is a good bet if u want to do sightseeing.

Go see the Lotus Temple(Bahai Temple), Qutub Minar(south Delhi), Humayaun's Tomb(central delhi), Jantar Mantar(bang opposite The Park!).

For shopping, go to the malls in Gurgaon (25-35 mins from the airport), Shoppers' Stop (in Saket), Greater Kailash M Block market. For clubs, go to Teazers or Buzz in Saket(PVR complex). Hope this helps. Have fun!!

you should book the hotel in advance. and it is advisable to book airport pick up also in advance from the hotel itself, as they  know the hotel's location. Otheriwise other taxi drivers may mis lead you while searching hotels in the mid night.

you could book any hotel, which are close to the airport. Otherwise, karol Bagh or Connaught Place is a good choice to stay at. As they are centrally located, and not too far from the airport.

Some of the hotels close to the airport are: Shanti Palace, Westend Inn, Airport Hotel, Lohias etc. And in Karol Bagh, there are innumerable hotels...Like Florence Inn, Grand Central, Pooja Palace etc etc...
