  1. no

  2. I agree with Wbaker, your money is better invested in lessons.  Give it some more thought dude.  I just see too many people buy new equipment, too often, and it does absolutely nothing for their games (myself included in the past).  Club manufacturer's would love us to go out buy new drivers every year, thinking our games will improve, but I'd rather see people spending their money on developing a sound swing so they aren't trapped into thinking the faults in their game can be attributed to inadequate equipment.

  3. my swing coach recommends getting new woods every three years or so to keep up with the newest technology. Just make sure you're getting it fit for you and take it for a spin first.

    fore!

  4. hi ray, to me golf is not only a sports but also a place of style. something attractive in your bag makes you feel better amongst your friends ! isn't? so why not get something new (doesn't matter if the driver matters to your game or not !!!!!!!! ) haaaa. but if you are serious please listen to others what they have said. test  yourself since you are already driving 270 yds. i guess you have the confidence of selecting your own car. thanks.

  5. yes

  6. Any golf club is a very personal choice, what works for me might not work for you because everyone's swing is individual to them. Go to a shop that sells the club you like and which also has a driving range, e.g. Direct golf in the UK. Try the club on a range (not by hitting a ball at a screen in a shop, that's not a true reflection of a course) and you will soon find a club that suits you best.

You wouldn't buy a car without a test drive so why buy a drive without a test!

  7. Inconsistency is a fault in swing mechanics,,,not equipment.  Do what you want...but if you want consistency  try a lesson or 2 before you plunk down big bucks for a new driver whatever brand or model it may be

  8. Lots of us would be happy @ 240 - 270!

And most golfers are a bit inconsistent with the driver.  Are you just getting restless?  At any rate - be sure to demo the club before you buy anything!

  9. Try before you buy for that is an expensive piece of equipment  and it is not always true that a change of driver results in more consistency. The powerbird 400 is a good club, so why not  ask your local golf pro to review your swing and set up before spending your money on a new driver.

  10. Y PLAY  THIS GAME!!! ITS BORING!!!! GOLF S SOOOO BORING!!!
