haha! The Patriots are NOT a dynasty!  They only have 3 superbowl wins and they play in the AFC North which is a JV division.  Plus how could you label them a dynasty when all they do is cheat?

There is no america's team. period. Many teams have fans across the country far from the hometown of their favorite team. But, from what I've seen, I've never seen an abundance of fans of the Cowboys outside the state of Texas. At least not anymore then any other team.

Some ridiculous broadcaster coined the term while wracking his brain for something witty to say. Just like the rest of the "copy cat" league, the NFL, many broadcasters have proliferated the term far longer then it should have ever done so.

I have never personally spoken to anyone in my state that calls them self a cowboys fan. Yet, I know many viking, packer, pats, bears, redskins, phins, 9ers, and even a detroit fan. You heard that right. I know a detroit fan, yet I have never personally met a Dallas fan in my state.

Do they call them America's Team because they can't pinpoint any one area that calls them their team? Houston didn't even want to cheer for them... Houston doesn't even care if they ever win, as long as they have someone other then the cowboys to cheer for, they are happy.

OH wow thank you for finding this and it is the exact thing the Cowboys fans have been trying to explain over and over. And they were called America's team even when they were losing just like now they were are and will forever be Americas Team ************************* no matter what the haters say.. It may be pointless to some but not to all because the boards are always lit up with the same old venom.. Hope you spend a few more points and repost this so it might stop the silly statements..

I never heard the Patriots call themselves that because they aren't as big of a******s as the 'Boys. Only a cowboys fan would pick the same inane fight over and over again. Nobody cares about the 'Boys. I hate the Patriots too.
