  1. I can't comment directly on the fin set up: single/twin/three/etc. You have to decide that for your self, your board, your style, your waves.  The other responders have done a good job at that, it would seem.

However: whatever your decision on these items is, I wholeheartedly recommend the Turbo Tunnel fins for most any application. Why? They simply do what they are supposed to very well: go where they are pointed and stay where they are pointed, resisting side forces attempting to make 'em do otherwise.

I am NOT a surfer, so take my "shameless plug" for the company's product for what it's worth: I am a kiteboarder and I use them for my long distance & customized sit-on boards. They add enormous stability and aid in edging. I personally think they assist in getting upwind, as well.

I hope others can give you some more detailed answers to your questions, but I just wanted to drop you a quick: "try 'em; they work."

NO: I am not compensated for or affiliated with the company. :-)

Best of luck! And, feel free to ask my any further questions if you like!

    Sincerely,

  2. I have a bruce jones fresh fish. I put on the Rasta Vector fins and couldnt be happier.  I have much more speed through slow sections and they seem tight when they need to be and loose when I want them to be. I took off the small trailer fin.  they fit futures boxes, not sure what walden has.

  3. Fish usually work best when your outer fins are larger than you back fin(if you even have a back fin, some don't). You want your side fins to have a larger base and lots of surface area to make up for the drive your going to lose with a smaller back fin.

  4. I think the first question you have to ask yourself is "why are you getting new fins?"  Are you looking to change the performance of your board?  Are you trying to make it looser or tighter?  Or are you just changing them for aesthetic reasons?

The answer will come from how you answer those questions.  Maybe you need fins with a larger profile or more rake.  Dig around and find out some more about fins and that will help you figure out what you need to get.
