  1. it is compatible with vista. i have both ff3.0 and vista, and both work fine for me. just try reinstalling..

  2. Yes.  It also has problems loading images.  Limit the number of add-ons you have enabled and see if that helps.  That's what I have been told.

  3. I'm not sure but I've heard that Firefox 3.0 is not compatible with Vista. That may be your problem.

  4. Yup, I've noticed this in all the FF3 variants too. It's a FF3 random crash event. It's very common. I'm sorry I can't help you any further. Right now this is in the Firefox dev team's hands. Sorry about all the crashes. :-(

You may want to see if it's any of your extensions causing at least some of the crashes.

P.S. This has happened for me in Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. I think it's a problem with the Firefox 3 code and not the OSes themselves. In Windows it crashes with a report dialog, in Mac OS X it beachballs (freezes), in Linux it simply quits or freezes and the next time you start up it acts like the process was killed and asks you if you want to resume.

  5. I  do have it, however have not come across this problem.  Try uninstalling it and reinstalling.
