Question:

New Fishing Tackle Box?

my old tackle box had 4 containers, and i bought a new soft side tackle box which can hold 5. with all my gear in the original 4, what or some ideas i can use the 5th for?

ex. dedicate each container to a specific type of lures

the setup i have now it

1. weights/hooks etc.

2. soft plastics (worms, leeches etc.)

3. hard baits (minnow baits, rapalas, top water, poppers etc.)

4. spinners

5. ???

i keep tools in the outside pockets such as pliers

what can i put in this 5th container?

  1. Chimp Dancer has it.  I couldn't add anything.  


  2. You can also take the three that don't contain your rubber baits and designate them for lures for the species of fish you go after most. For example, I have a drawer for my hooks & stuff, one for rubber baits, one for bass, one for walleye, and one for northern pike.  

  3. You can use it for a quick go to container. Put a little bit of everything in it, especially some of your fave lures. When you need something quick you know exactly where to go instead of digging through 4 other containers. As your tackle grows, you can downsize the 5th box to accommodate. You can do that or use it for specialty items like an assortment of beads, swivels, leaders, replacement hooks, rings, sprays and such.~good luck catchin'.

  4. you could use it for terminal tackle like swivels or bobblers (floaters)
