New Foundation.....?

What foundation would be best to get for acne prone skin, that is relatively oily, that covers well on things like acne scars and uneven skin tones and that lasts all day, and stays in place?

Would I get a normal liquid foundation, tinted moisturizer, or a spray on?

(not using powder or cream)

  1. i heard that Vichy Dermablend Dermasmooth Corrective Foundation was very god for redness and acne and acne scars and it looks flawless and natural. im thinking abut buying it too but im still asking for reviews (my post is below yours lol) i heard really good reviews from makeupalley.com so i hope its good, i think i might ask for a sample before i buy it though. and the top rated powder is Prestige Skin Loving Minerals Gentle Finish Mineral Powder Foundation.

so i suggest maybe you go to http://www.makeupalley.com and check out the reviews for the products, you might end up buying them and loving them! or maybe go to the store and ask for a sample :) good luck!

  2. I use tescos own foundation... really cheap and really effective!

Its just called 'make-up' I think its by Barbra Daily or something.

Its really good at covering redness and if you buy the oil free one then that would be perfect for you.

Its best applied with a foundation sponge x hope this helps x

  3. Go with a liquid foundation.  A tinted moisturizer is not a foundation, and will not cover up anything, it just evens out skin tones a little while moisturizing.  I don't really know anything about spray-ons, but it seems to me like they'd clog your pores and make the acne worse.  When I went to the dermatologist about my acne, he told me that liquid foundation was the best for acne prone skin.  He also told me to never use cover girl, because even though it says noncomedogenic, it is really bad for your skin.  His list of recommended brands included Mary Kay and Clinique.  Those are all that I can remember because it was so long ago.
