Ok so school starts in 2 weeks or so and I need to know how I should get my haircut. I have long dark brown hair. Almost down to my elbows. I also have side bangs but I was thinking of growing them out. How should I get my hair cut? And please don't recommend layers because I had layers before and I wasn't able to straighten my hair. By the way my hair is kind of thick and it's wavy/curly. Please Help!

  1. you should get it angled which is different than layers

layer is where the different layer of your hair are different lengths but with angles when your hair is down it goes like this \

                                                                         \

                                                                          \

so it goes longer as you down

  2. look in the books at the salon, do something drastic but that looks good. something new and exciting and short. short hair is big right now. and don't worry it grows back. you will get a lot of attention since everyone knows you have short hair, they will be really supprised. if you are nervous and are able go to a wig shop and try some on or mess with some of your pictures to get a better idea.

  3. leave your hair long!! it must be so pretty...try straightening it with an iron
