  1. I work at the DMV for the MSF safety class.

Are you talking about the class that is offered?

    or

Are you talking about going there with your permit and taking the riding test on your own bike?

Either way, the test they offer is the same (Im not sure if it's indentical). It is about 48 Questions if I can remember correctly, and no, it was extremely easy. Go to MSF-USA.org and take a practice test. I got a 100 on mine, but remember I also did the class.

If you're talking about the riding test- it's out front. The class they offer is held out back. I looked at the test that they offer for out front and it is simpler than the class's test. Note I said simplier, not easier. It all depends on your skills and how much your bike weighs, what type, etc.

  2. The driving test in NH for the motorcycle is easy if you can control the bike. I know the DMV in Dover, NH has the test course painted on the pavement. It has a few turns and stops you must do while following the lines. I don't know if other DMV's have them painted out front. Just make sure you have a motorcycle you are comfortable with. The test won't take long to do. You will probably spend more time waiting for your turn. I know at the DMV in my area the motorcycle test is Wednesday mornings and when the weather gets nicer you can see a dozen or so motorcycles in line for the test.

  3. Yes (it's pretty easy) and no (it doesn't take a long time.

All you need is a lot of experience riding a motercycle, (or the MSF BRC).
