Question:

New Hire Starbucks Training?

Do they send you away or do you learn on the premises? If they send you away is it to a Starbucks or a classroom?

Just wondering because I have an interview for a barista soon and I have a funky phobia of classrooms.. :/

  1. Hi there fellow new Starbucks partner! I myself am a Starbucks partner as well.

When you get hired, you'll receive purple book with a bunch of paperwork in the back that you have to fill out, a green case filled with training modules and a coffee passport, Tazo Tea passport and a Green apron passport.

You will complete the bulk of your training in your store while finishing the modules. Ex: modules will teach you how to make frappucino base. Then you must go and do it with your learning coach.

Within the first few days of getting hired, you should get to a Starbucks Experience Workshop where you learn about the history of Starbucks. It's about 4-5 hours long. You'll get two 10 minutes breaks. And it's not really in a traditional classroom. It's more of an office meeting room. (At least that's where mine was).

    Have fun!
