New Hockey Equipment...?

hey guys, i recenlt bought basically ALL new hockey equipment, and am going to hockey camp on sunday..i was wondering how diff. it wil feel when im on the ice, and how long it will take to break them in??? (the only things i didnt get new was glove, chest pads, helmet...and i got new skates which i have skated in and im still getting used to them)

  1. Most of it will feel a little stiff at first, but it'll loosen up soon enough. How long it takes depends on how much you sweat.

    The big things you want broken in are the skates and gloves, and to a lesser extent the elbow pads, depending on which model you got. Some take more then others.

    How different it will feel depends on what you had before and brand, and how much your old equipment was broken in.

    If I were you I would go to an open hockey session at your rink first to get a feel for it.
