Question:

New HomeSchooling Law( Bill)?

Do people realise how hard it is to get things done if your not using a goverment related system. They make it extremley hard to get a workers permit if your homeschooled. Everything is built around the goverment system and if you dont use the system then they make it as hard as possible ( without taking away your rights or offending the constitution!) for you. 1. That really must vary by where you live.  Our son had no problem getting a work permit at 15.

  2. I dont really think that's a question .. rather a rant. However, what you are referring to is not an actual law. If you go to HSLDA's website they have updates on what is going on and what has happened. There is also a petition to sign if you want.

  3. What exactly is the question? Laws are laws. Perhaps you should attend a public school and learn to work with others. Then maybe you won't be so angry :)

  4. It certainly doesn't look as easy as if you're at school but schools can refuse permits to their own students so it may not be as easy for them as you think.

  5. There are a few annoyances and obstacles and reporting requirements that vary from state to state and country to country.

Not too many where we live... but the few we do have to deal with are not such a big deal that I would change my mind about homeschooling.
