Seems Honda big-wigs had it in for Aguri-san after all...

engineer Ken Anderson is in talks to setup a Honda (USA)-supported F1 outift for next year

Honda could be supplying engines, gearboxes and even KERS units to them... makes you think why they couldn't even supply Super Aguri with parts for more than two races this year???

Anyway, aside from that issue... it would be good to have another team... as well as if Prodrive get their bums into gear... plus this Honda outfit want to give Taku a seat...

Who would you like to see drive for this team? I think Marco Andretti should watch this development closely, as should Bruno Senna...

  1. The Honda team are traitors and are not to be trusted.  As soon as this new team starts to perform better than them, they will be scrapped same as Super Aguri.

  2. GATORADE is right, why do this after letting Super Aguri starve to death? Honda are a hard team to warm to, like Toyota, they spend, spend, spend but are only occasionally podium contenders. This I hope never happens, I'm all for a new team or two and I have no problems with customer cars but what a waste of time and money after letting a good B team die.

Looks more like yet another life line for the continually overrated Takuma Sato to me.......

  3. i know jacques villeneuve hasn't ruled f1 out... and as he has north american ties it makes sense... it would be great to see him on the track again! :-)

    otherwise probably the GP2 winner...

  4. Anthony Davidson for me. He's never really had a chance to prove himself and he is really a very competent driver. Let the new guys do a bit of testing first

  5. Firmly tongue in cheek

Matt Neal - a British touring car driver and twice champion in Hondas.

Only problem hes 6 foot 6 inches so it would have to be pretty long wheelbase
