New Iphone 3g's. How much?

How much is the new 3g iphone(8gig)? Is there a certain plan you HAVE to have when you purchase it to get the $300 rate? If not how much does it cost buy it and put it on an existing AT&T plan?

yes u do have to purchase a plan along with the iphone - check the apple or at&t website, since there are several plans.

The iPhone 3G 8GB itself costs $199 supposing you fall into  these guidelines:

-You sign the two year contract

-You are eligible for an upgrade (you can check this at the AT&T website)

Otherwise, if you are not eligible, it is $399. And if you do not sign the contract, you can (in the future) purchase it or $399.

Also, you need a special phone plan (all including unlimited data)... the options are:

-450 Anytime minutes, 5000 night and weekend minutes, and 49 cent extra minutes for $69.99/month

-900 anytime minutes, unlimited night and weekend minutes, and 40 cent extra minutes for $89.99/month

-1350 anytime minutes, unlimited night and weekend minutes, and 30 cent extra minutes for 109.99/month

You can also add unlimited text for $20/month.

199 for 8 gig 299 for 16 gig

but personally i wouldn't waste my money the new firm wear update has proven to be a big disaster for apple and at&t the new update has messed up the new iphone and has made it very slow and people have been to at&t in droves to replace their new disaster
