New Jersey Devils looking to take advantage of Los Angeles Kings frustration -NHL Playoffs Update
New Jersey Devils know that the Los Angeles Kings have been frustrated since the moment the tables changes in the team from the East’s favour, which is something they are definitely looking forward to taking advantage of heading into Game 6 of the 2012 National
Hockey League (NHL) Stanley Cup Finals.
Devils have been on the brink of elimination after losing their third straight after Game 3, but defying all odds, New Jersey has become the new favourite for the Stanley Cup championship and nothing seems to be stopping them now.
Head Devils coach, Peter DeBoer, is also finally getting some favour in the series and hopes to continue keeping them at that level.
"You could see some frustration -- understandable," Devils coach, Peter DeBoer, said. "That's the spot we want to put them in. We want to keep that pressure on them."
Game 6 on Monday night, June 11, 2012, will definitely be crucial for New Jersey Devils as they need to win in order to return back home for a Game 7 competition. It will in no way be an easy task playing at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles as fans will
come ready for celebrating the cup and if not, things can always go wild and Kings know that.
Having a fluke goal in overtime to win a match like Devils’ Bryce Salvador did in Game 5, is certainly a frustration for the losing team, especially if it is the finals.
"When things don't go your way, there's going to be frustration," Salvador said. "What we've tried to do each series is not to show our frustration and not allow it to be a factor in the series. As you're seeing, momentum comes and goes. When you don't have
it, you have to be really particular to not get frustrated. That's kind of been one of our game plans. Hopefully we're frustrating them.”
Game 6 will be in Los Angeles, California, at the STAPLES Center between New Jersey Devils and Los Angeles Kings at 8:00 PM ET.
It will exciting to see which team manages to come out victorious in the end and whether Kings’ fans will march down the streets on Monday or not.
