Despite losing leading scorer Devin Harris, Nets still managed to beat Clippers in the presence of 14, 516 fans at Staples Center, Los Angeles.
The Nets floor leader and leading scorer, Harris proved to be a backbone of Nets but by the end he was ejected from the game due to a hard foul on the Clippers’ young star, Blake Griffin with just over 6 minutes remaining in the first half.
His inexistence in the rest of the two quarters didn’t bothered Nets as they were still able to get their West Coast trip off to a winning start, as they grabbed an early lead against the Clippers.

Players at Nets end were packed by power and energy as Brook Lopez had team-high 24 points, Travis Outlaw had 23, and Jordan Farmar had a double – double with 15 points and a career-high 12 assists to help the Nets overcome a 30-point effort from Clipper’s
Eric Gordon.
On the other hand, Harris had eight points and seven assists in 14 minutes. Kris Humphries was a cool and quiet contributor as well, with another double – double, 13 points, and 12 rebounds.

Nets kept on dominating the game from the start. They started with a one point lead by the end of first quarter and extending it to a huge lead of 7 points at the end of second quarter. Clippers tried their level best to make a great come back and played
the third part well as compared to other helves but all in vain. The final round fully handled by Nets and they stamped a great victor against the hosts.

Nets shining star, Outlaw came in averaging 11.4 points, but put up 18 in the first half to help the Nets to an 11-point lead.
Fair move of the game
The Nets decided to move Lopez out on the perimeter in the third quarter of the game, which was fruitful as and he responded by scoring 12 points, eight on jump shots.
