Is there something I should uninstall immediately?

All in all, these programs are not as bad as my old laptops which had a ton of unnecessary junk.

In addition to just looking at these programs, is there anything I should clean up or check to optimize my laptop's performance?

  1. that doesn't seem too bad

you can see what unnecessary programs are loading up at startup that will free up some more resources

  2. It looks like at least two programs need a security patch.

Go here and run a free text. You will be advised what is needed and where to get it.

Important!! After updating Java, go to add/ remove programs and uninstall ALL old versions. Left installed, they are a security risk.

  3. Remove the ones you don't need. Some are useful, like Office and those hardware installs, but the rest is bloatware.
