New Mad Skills Motocross tournament gives users opportunity to win iTunes credits
Turborilla recently launched the first tournament of the popular smartphone and tablet-based game “Mad Skills Motocross,” offering users a chance to win prizes by collecting in-game medals.
The users of iPhone will be able to enter the tournament free of charge, though they will have to get themselves registered on “Mad Skills Motocross” tournament’s official website.
The “Mad Skills Motocross” tournament will extend over 14 rounds, with the first 13 rounds being considered as regular season while the last round will act as the championship round.
Each round will run for a week, with a new course will be introduced for each round. Users will only have a few days to master the challenging course and beating three progressively difficult computer-controlled opponents to collect medals.
The users will have a chance to win prizes by getting the best overall legitimate time as well as finishing in the top-three. The value of the prize handed out will depend on the achievement of the user and will range from iTunes credit for $25 to $10.
Aside from the weekly prizes, the users will be motivated to perform even better as winning eight medals of more throughout the regular season of “Mad Skills Motocross” tournament will allow them to qualify for the championship round, which will give them an opportunity to collect even bigger prizes.
With the first round of the tournament becoming active on February 4, the race for the medals and bragging rights is already on.
Talking about the popular motocross game that was launched by Sweden-based Turborilla in partnership with Filter Publications/ Racer X and has already been downloaded over 3 million times, the President of the latter company Bryan Stealey stated that the “Mad Skills Motocross” races have been started for more than a billion times, highlighting the love of users for this game.
He also confirmed that the users will be able to collect prizes each week.
“Prizes are awarded weekly, and there will also be bigger prizes at the end of the championship round,” Stealey said. “Each week a prize will be awarded to a random bronze, silver, and gold medallist, as well as to the top time as of the closing of the round.”
Stealey had proposed the idea of launching a tournament for the popular game over a year ago, but it was only recently that his idea materialised.
