Here's the problem as described by my member.

"I filled out the form to join your group! typed in a name and typed in a password, it was taken, so I changed it.

I thought I was in because all the messages are coming thru! When I tried to log on to view the photos it says my title and password are incorrect ! I didn't know where to go from here, so if you can help great other than that I'm not sure what to do."

I'll follow your advice regarding member profiles request. Thanks

  1. In order for them to see the photos in messages from group, they need to change their email delivery for that group to Individual Emails.  Messages will be delivered one at a time to their email inbox and they will be able to see the pictures in messages.  This is how to do that:

They need to sign in to your group.

Toward the top of the screen, click on Edit Membership.

Scroll down to Step 2. Message Delivery.

Click one time in the blank circle in front of Individual Emails

Click on Save Changes located at bottom of page.

In order to answer other problem, would need more info on what problem they have and what they are viewing when replying to messages.

  2. You'll have to be more specific about "trouble". What happens when they try?

To view the photo albums in your group, the member needs to sign in to Yahoo. And, the account they sign in with must be the account that is a member of your group. If they don't have an account registered in your group they'll be listed in your membership list with "Request Profile" in the left column where their ID would otherwise be.

Go ahead and click that link, Yahoo will send them an email with instructions for registering an account in your group.

The number of things that might be going wrong with replies are too numerous to guess at. Are they trying to reply from the  group's pages, or by email? Do they know the group's posting address? Are they sending from the address that is registered in your group?
