Question:

New Mozilla Firefox?

Yes, I updated mine this morning into the new version. After I updated it, they reset my settings. As in, my history, cache space etc. But I've got a problem, now every website I've typed in the address bar is saved. While that may not be a problem to others, my Internet becomes EXTREMELY slow because of that. I've tried clearing my private data but the web pages are still there. And as slow as ever. Is there any way to get rid of the web pages in the address box?

  2. Go to Tools>Options>Privacy>Uncheck remember what websites I have been to and the forms ones! http://www.mymediatutorials.com/

  3. haha same i fixed it tools>options>privacy uncheck all history boxs and 2nd last bottom box and your done never worry again and get rocket speeds

  4. Try clearing the private data with all the options selected and as you said you tried that .  download C cleaner and try clearing all the Firefox related options within it and then see .

  5. Here's a more difficult way to solve this little problem if the others don't work:

1 Type “about:config” (without the quotation marks) into the address bar.

2 Click on the “I’ll be careful, I promise!” button.

3 Find the row that says “browser.urlbar.maxRichResults”.

4 Double click the row and make the value “0″.
