  1. I have a 2006 Mustang V6 convertible.

So far I've loved this car. Always get compliments on it.

I get 16 mpg in the city.

You could find the prices online at ford.com. Mine cost 30k out the door. They cost the same as any other car to maintain. I plan on buying another one within the next 5 years.

  2. Actually Ford Mustangs have a sporty look. Even the old ones. Gas mileage may not be similar to smaller cars and price may be a little higher. I would recommend that you are going to drive it and disregarding everything ask yourself one question, "Would you have fun driving a Ford Mustang or a small, sensible fuel efficient bantam car?" After all you will be driving it. Good luck and hope I helped a little.

  3. I get 24mpg on the highway, if i keep my foot out of it.

im on my 3rd mustang.  i LOVE them

safe cars.  I got hit by a suburban that was doing 50 mph, and I walked away from it

id say you can get a 2005 GT with low miles around 19-20K...

they stink in the snow.  the new one is pretty good, i had 2 cobra convertibles before this car, they were bad in the snow.  if you live where you get substantial bad weather, plan on a set of snow tires.

my thoughs on the stang are, to get it stock, put a little exhaust rumble on it, get the cold air intake, the SCT tuner (all of that will set you back about 1500 or so)...youll have alittle extra power, some cool exhaust note...you can do these little things over time...

and, I would get the vert.  I am a motorcycle nut, so the vert was the only way to go.  good luck to u!
