New Orleans Hornets signs Roger Mason

The New Orleans Hornets have been a team looking to re-build their franchise ever since the departure of Chris Paul prior to last season. Under new owner Tom Benson, they looked to build a young core and were boosted by the arrival
of number one pick Anthony Davis and number 10 pick Austin Rivers in this year’s draft.
However putting experienced veterans alongside the youngsters is one of the most important steps in the path to progress and to bring the much needed experience to their roster, the Hornets have signed veteran guard Roger Mason.
Hornets will be the 6th franchise Mason will be a part of ever since his career began back in 2002 as the 31st overall pick by the Chicago Bulls. He holds a career average of 6.7 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4
assists.
Oklahoma City Thunder add Daniel Orton

Oklahoma City Thunder has been a team on the rise ever since the franchise relocated from Seattle back in 2006. The team which they have at the moment is one of the youngest, yet extremely formidable, and continuing their tradition
of relying on youth, OKC recently signed Daniel Orton.
Orton was a first round pick by the Orlando Magic back in 2010 and was later sent to the D-League. However a season ending injury suffered in his first game in the D-League restricted him from making his NBA debut until last season,
in which he played in 16 games and held an average of 2.8 points and 2.4 rebounds.
Prior to being a first round recruit, Orton played college basketball for the University of Kentucky.
