Teacher with 15 years in Chicago!s classroom plans to relocate to New OrleansCertified K-9,science endorsment, special education approval with five years classroom experience. .Looking for possible out of classroom positions, such as home bound,hospital,detenion center,or other similiar positions offered by the Recovery District! I would truly appreciate learning of any possible non traditional positions..

The Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office probably runs the education program(s) for the detention center:

Also check the Catholic school system in New Orleans.  They may know of positions even if you are not Catholic:
