New Orleans in December, weather?

Question

what's the weather like generally in Mid December?

Im planning a trip from the 9th to the 16th.

Ive never been there and curious what to kinda expect that time of year.

anyone live there that can help?

Highs are in the 50s lows in the 30s

I agree with elyk, but it could go as high as 75. We've been having a LOT of warm weather in our "winters".

Mid-December weather in New Orleans is not predicatable.  It could be cool, or quite warm.  I recall many Christmas days with a high temp of 70F.

However, the weather is unlikely to be very cold.  You will be fine if you pack short and long sleeve shirts, a sweater or two, and a light jacket.  

Check the weather the day before leaving home and make any needed revisions.
