New PC or wait for the SlingCatcher?

I want to watch DVD movie files on my TV. I have two options, as I see it....

1) Wait for the SlingCatcher to come out (its been pushed back 4 times now and seems to take forever) - cost $299

2) Buy a new slimline PC for about $399 which I would use as a dedicated Media Server

go with the slimline, you can play games browse the web and watch movies, no xbox can do that.

The Xbox 360 will allow you to stream dvd movies using Microsoft Media Player.  It also has some kick *** games for it.
