New Pearl on his way to the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot after impressive victory in his maiden
It seems that, New Pearl is on his way to gain more victories after his terrific performance in the first race of his career.
The son of Acclamation, out of mare New Deal, delivered a smashing performance in his career maiden, as he prevailed in the Makfi Future Stars Maiden Stakes at Newmarket on 6th May, 2012.
Mounted by rider, J Murtagh, the two-year-old grey colt maintained his composure throughout the race and took the lead on the David Simcock trained, Emirates Echo, by a considerable margin of 4 ½ lengths.  
Trained by David Brown for owners, Pearl Bloodstock Ltd, the grey colt is ready to take part in the Royal Ascot.
Due to his recent success at Newbury, the trainer will be running the colt in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot.
The talented trainer, who was also incharge of training Frederick Engels, told the press that: "He came out of his last race fantastic and we are just deciding where to go next with him."
He further added: "There is a conditions race at Pontefract on June 1 he could go for, or the other option is the National Stakes at Sandown.
"But that's over five furlongs and I'd rather try him over six furlongs with a view to going for the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot.”
The trainer stated that the jockey for this horse will be, Johnny Murtagh, as he has shown enthusiasm to ride him, and will be hoping to take charge of him in the races to come.
The renowned trainer will be working hard on this new runner. Under his wing, Frederick Engels has truly blossomed.
The son of Iceman, out of mare Colonel´s Daughter, who is also owned by Pearl Bloodstock Ltd, notched a marvelous victory in the Group 2 TNT July Stakes at Newmarket on 7th July, 2011, where he raced with a shot of 7-4.

With his swift pace, he excelled under the guidance of jockey, Eddie Ahern, as he defeated race favourite, Roman Soldier, by 1 length.
