Question

I can’t find the right words to say

I know you’re the one but how do I explain

You intimidate me with your beauty and soul

I ignore you because I feel so insecure

Your attitude is like a blooming rose

But your beauty is like the wicked thorn

I know you’re sweet as ice cream but never cold

I’m just to shy to tell you I don’t have any words

I can’t express my emotions I’m too tongue tied

One word is too much to hard to explain and show

My feelings are powerful and glow like a star

But my words are eclipsed and too dark to express

My heart is in a cavern where only my voice echoes

But your too far to hear me it fades it only seconds

Will I ever find the right words to say to you

Or will my self confidence fade away and flicker

I can’t find the right words to say

But maybe one day I'll find you and tell you the truth

You are the one I love so please marry me!!!

I think it's very good, but I'm a little confused about it.  Are you trying to tell her/him that you've been loving them from afar or are you proposing marriage to someone you've been with for a while?  The whole poem sounds like unrequited love, but at the end you propose.  Otherwise, great job!
