New RNs: For the NCLEX exam did you have to know patent ductus arteriosis, VSD, ASD, etc. for peds,etc.?

I've been reviewing my Saunder's NCLEX book, and I don't remember any of this stuff. I don't know if I should spend time on reviewing these or if it's a waste. I have to relearn this to understand how it works.

Help please!

Not all tests are the same, so I would highly advise that you study this area, because you MIGHT get asked questions on this subject. I know.... I know..... but it's best to study and learn about it and if you are not asked any questions, that will be great, but if they do ask questions, you'll know the answer too :)
