1. Ok if you are a new rider that hasnt been on a bike.....do not get a sport bike like the ones you mentioned..I.E zx14, zx10, or busa. Trust me on this, and im just looking out for ya. those bikes take a lot of skill to handle safely. A good bike would be the zzr 600 but you should still have some practice on everything before you commit. The gas mileage will obviously be worse on the bikes with bigger displacement. and the last three will easly do 80 with a passenger....easily. The Hayabusa has been at the forefront of hyperbikes. Tons of aftermarket support for anything your performance needs maybe as well as customizing anything from mirrors to whole frames. I think they are somewhat ugly and really arent that great at handling as the racier siblings. the ZZR600 is a detuned Ninja and will carry you and your passenger to 80 but you might want to adjust the rear suspension a bit. the zzr will get around 40+ miles per gallon. The zx14 is around 38 at best. so they all get decent mileage. But make sure ego doesnt make this decision.

  2. My Ninja ZX6R averages around 43mpg city/highway combined.

I'm sure the ZZR600 will get slightly better gas mileage with a more comfortable ride for you and a passenger.

As far as accessories, if you want a sporty touring bike with storage compartments and all that, you may want a Kawasaki Concours 14, but you may only get 35mpg.

A ZX10 probably won't get near 45mpg, but a ZX14 or Hayabusa may get near 45mpg on the highway, but maybe just around 35 in the city.

All bikes listed obviously can easily go over 80mph with a passenger.

I'm going to take a stab at this and guess that you would like the Kawasaki ZZR600.
